KAMBO TULUM

Nothing to Overthink, Just Show Up Ready

Preparation isn’t complicated, and you don’t need to get it perfect. What you bring to a session, physically, mentally, emotionally, shapes what becomes possible in it. These guidelines exist to take unnecessary stress off your body before we even start, not to give you one more thing to stress about.

Setting an Intention

If you want to arrive with something in mind, something you’re moving toward, releasing, or wanting clarity on, that’s great. Hold it loosely though. Kambo tends to work on what your body actually needs, not necessarily what your mind thinks it wants. Trust it to know where to go.

What to Wear

Something comfortable and loose. You’ll be sitting or lying down the whole time, so wear whatever you’d want to relax in.

Your Timeline

Seven days before: If you’ve recently come off Iboga or Ibogaine, we need to wait. Reach out and we’ll figure out timing together.

Three days before: Skip alcohol, recreational substances, colonics, enemas, or any aggressive detox protocols.

The evening before: Get a normal night’s sleep and eat a nourishing dinner at a reasonable hour. Nothing special required, just don’t tax your system unnecessarily.

Day of Session

Arrive fasted for about six hours

If your session’s later in the day, a light breakfast is fine

Skip caffeine and citrus

Hydrate lightly, water or coconut water

Hold off on supplements or medications that morning unless we’ve already talked about it

Skip the sauna, temezcal, or anything that gets you sweating hard

Give yourself time to arrive without rushing. A calm start tends to lead to a calmer session.

How Long It Takes

Most sessions run one to two hours, depending on pacing and how your body responds. There’s no clock running. We move at the pace you need.

Is This Safe for You?

Kambo creates real physiological effects, and it isn’t right for everyone. Every client goes through screening before anything’s confirmed. Kambo isn’t appropriate if you have a history of:

Cardiovascular conditions, including stroke, aneurysm, or heart disease

Chronically low blood pressure or fainting

Recent chemotherapy, radiation, or immunotherapy

Addison’s disease or adrenal insufficiency

Active psychiatric instability

Medications that significantly affect cardiovascular, neurological, or immune function

Not sure if this is you? Reach out before filling out the intake form. That conversation stays private, and I’d rather answer your question upfront than have you guessing.

After Your Session

Most people go right back to their day, work, meetings, normal life. Some prefer to rest, and a short twenty minute nap is usually all it takes to feel like yourself again.

Your body keeps clearing in the days that follow, so be kind to what you put back in. Skip alcohol and recreational substances for a few days, and stick to simple, clean food. Rest, hydrate, and give yourself room. Integration doesn’t end when the session does.
