INDHI
Founder of Kambo Tulum
I didn’t choose this path. It chose me.
I work within the Umbanda lineage — a West African spiritual tradition brought to Brazil during colonization, nearly erased by racism and colonial suppression, and kept alive through generations of practitioners committed to its preservation. Nothing about Umbanda is new age, nor borrowed or commercialized. It is a living, traditional lineage rooted in mediumship, discipline, and deep respect for the Forces of Nature.
I am a medium within this lineage. I was not looking for this. I was not spiritual when I found it — or when it found me. But my soul recognized something, and I paid attention. Over time, I was initiated under Obaluyae and Omolu, built relationships with the Orixás — the beings and deities who govern the different Forces of Nature — and came to understand that this was not something I was doing. It was something I was being.
Being a healer is not a brand. It is a life of initiation, study, and responsibility. There is a great deal that comes with it that nobody advertises.
I was guided toward serving Kambo because there is a profound lack of integrity in how sacred medicines are being offered today — commercially, carelessly, and sometimes dangerously. I felt called to offer something different: grounded, regulated, and held within a framework of genuine lineage and accountability.
My training includes Trauma Informed Somatic Integration (ICF and CPD accredited), Kambo facilitation under Nadine Purdy of Kambo Casita, and education in positive psychology and post-traumatic growth frameworks. But the foundation beneath all of it is the Umbanda lineage — and the understanding that this work carries real responsibility.
I am always a student. I am lucky enough to be living my purpose — not because I sought it, but because I said yes when it arrived.
