Kambo Preparation Guidelines
Preparation ensures your body is ready for session day.
Kambo is applied gradually and requires a stable baseline. These guidelines support that.
Seven Days Prior
Your body responds best when it is not under additional strain.
In the seven days before your session:
• Avoid strong purgative substances such as Iboga or Ibogaine
• Avoid prolonged fasting or aggressive detox protocols
• Avoid introducing new intensive health interventions
Keep your routine steady.
Three Days Prior
In the three days before your session:
• Avoid alcohol and recreational substances
• Avoid colonics, enemas, or aggressive detox practices
• Avoid excessive physical strain
• Prioritize consistent sleep
Arrive resourced.
Day of Your Session
Arrive hydrated, rested, and clear headed.
On the day of your session:
• Fast for at least six hours
• If scheduled later in the day, a light, simple breakfast is acceptable
• Avoid caffeine
• Avoid citrus
• Hydrate lightly with water or coconut water
• Do not take supplements or medications that morning unless discussed in advance
• Avoid sauna, temezcal, intense heat exposure, or mega sweating.
Sessions are paced according to how your body is responding.
Contraindications
Kambo creates measurable physiological effects and requires proper screening.
This work may not be appropriate if you have a history of:
• Cardiovascular conditions including stroke, aneurysm, or heart disease
• Chronically low blood pressure or fainting
• Recent chemotherapy, radiation, or immunotherapy
• Addison’s disease or adrenal insufficiency
• Active psychiatric instability
• Use of medications that significantly affect cardiovascular, neurological, or immune function
All clients complete screening prior to booking.
After Your Session
Most people return to normal activity the same day.
Rest, hydrate, and eat according to appetite.
Your body continues responding in the hours that follow.
